Comparo: Product Compare — Privacy Policy

Comparo: Product Compare ("the App") is provided by Conexao Apps. This policy explains what data the App accesses and stores when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store.

Data we access

• Store domain and an access token issued by Shopify, used to call the Shopify Admin API on your behalf.
• A public Storefront API token created for your store, used only by the compare widget to read the product specification metafields you choose to display.

Data we store

• Your compare widget settings: button label, bar color, maximum products, table rows, spec metafields and compare page address.
• Support messages you send from the in-app Support page (with your shop name and email), stored only to provide support and deleted on shop/redact.

The App does not access, collect or store any personal data about your customers. The products a shopper selects for comparison are kept only in that shopper's own browser (local storage) and are never sent to us.

How we use data

Only to show the product comparison widget on your storefront. We never sell or share data with third parties.

Retention and deletion

Within 48 hours of uninstalling the App, Shopify sends a shop/redact request and we permanently delete all data stored for your store.
